From Andy Lang: Will Zalatoris – We said he was over-priced last week as a favorite, and he finished tied for 20th deliver way below his price, and we keep s aying that his putting isn't good enough at these easy courses to go really low. Last week in that bad field he was 54th in putting, and he finished 13 shots behind the winner.
It's another weak field and an easy course, and he's the betting favorite this week, no way I'm betting on Zalatoris who finished 29th here last year.
Webb Simpson – His history at this tournament is incredible, but you have to go back to the RSM Classic in November of 2021 to find his last top-10 finish. That's 15-straight tournaments with no finish better than 13th, and he's the second-highest betting favorite? He's 131st in greens in regulation and 103rd in putting this year. There’s no chance I'm supporting Webb this week.
