Oklahoma City Thunder at Detroit Pistons – 11/7/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Oklahoma City Thunder invade Little Caesars Arena to battle the Detroit Pistons on Monday night.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been searching for consistency as they’ve lost four of their first nine games and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting thrashed by the Bucks in a 108-94 road loss on Saturday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 18 points, Josh Giddey added 15 points while Jeremiah Robinson-Earl chipped in with 12 points but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Thunder shot just 42 percent from the field and 12 of 35 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Bucks in every quarter except for the second quarter where they got outscored by 33-19.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons have been in a real slump as they’ve lost eight of their last nine games and they will be looking to stop a three-game slide after getting blown out by the Cavaliers in a 112-88 loss on Friday. Cade Cunningham led the team with 19 points and five assists, Saddiq Bey and Jaden Ivey scored 18 points apiece while Isiaiah Livers chipped in with 11 points off the bench. As a team, the Pistons shot just 37 percent from the field and 13 of 37 from the 3-point line as they struggled to keep up with the Cavaliers early on and were always fighting an uphill battle after managing just 18 points in the second quarter. The Pistons trailed by 18 points going into halftime and did well to keep it from being a bigger margin in the second half.
