Green Bay at Indiana State – 11/7/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Green Bay Phoenix will play the Indiana State Sycamores in a non-conference game on Monday night at the Hulman Center in Terre Haute, Indiana.

The Green Bay Phoenix were 5-25 (4-16) last season and finished 11th in the Horizon League standings. Green Bay lost to Detroit Mercy in the first round of the Horizon League Championship by a score of 79-62, which ended their season. Green Bay lost their top three scorers from last season, which totaled over 34 points per game. The Phoenix are bringing in five transfers, two of which are from division one programs. Green Bay was really bad last season and lost a good amount of production, so I don’t see them being much better this year.

The Indiana State Sycamores were 11-20 (4-14) last season and finished ninth in the Missouri Valley Conference standings. Indiana State lost in their first game of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament by a score of 58-53 against Illinois State, which ended their season. Indiana State returns a good amount of their team, but did lose Micah Thomas, who averaged 9.7 points per game last year. The Sycamores bring in five transfers, two of which are from division one programs. Indiana State was not very good last season, but brings back the majority of their production. Assuming those returning players are getting better, this team should be better than they were a season ago.
