Champions win in Finland
NHL champions the Colorado Avalanche won 6-3 against the Columbus Blue Jackets in Tampere, Finland, yesterday, to improve to 5-4-1, while back at home the Hurricanes moved to 8-2-1 with a 5-3 win over the Sabres. Our NHL player prop cashed for the second time in 3 days.

Underdogs bite on Friday night
Oregon State was the only ranked team in college football action on Friday night, but the #23 school lost 24-21 to Washington, although they did cover the spread as 4-point underdogs. Duke beat Boston College 38-31 but also failed to cover.
