UCF vs. Memphis Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-5-2022

The 25th ranked University of Central Florida Knights travel to Memphis to face the Tigers in an American Athletic Conference matchup. The Knights are 6-2 overall and 3-1 in the conference while Memphis is 4-4 overall and 2-3 in the conference. The Knights have won four out of the last five meetings with Memphis including a 24-7 win last season as a 14.5 point underdog. UCF is listed as a 3.5 point favorite in this one.

The UCF Knights are back in the top 25 in the national polls after a big win over Cincinnati as they beat the Bearcats at home 25-21 as a 2 point favorite. It was a big win as the Bearcats were unbeaten in the AAC and came in with a 6-1 record overall. Cincinnati took the lead with three minutes left in the game 21-18 but the Knights marched down the field in the final minutes and took the lead with 54 seconds left on a 17 touchdown run by RJ Harvey. They held on for the 25-21 win.

UCF dominated in this game, at least in terms of offense as it racked up 505 total yards and 30 first down  to 333 yards and 18 first downs for the Bearcats. They had 258 yards rushing and held Cincinnati to just 35 yards rushing. Harvey led the Knights with 84 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns while Isaiah Bowser had 58 yards and a touchdown for UCF. Quarterback Mikey Keene was 15 for 21 for 176 with no TDs or picks. He took over in the second quarter from starter John Rhys Plumlee, who left the game with an injury. Plumlee was 7 for 11 71 yards when he exited the game. Plumlee is listed as questionable for Saturday's game at Memphis.
