The Atlanta Hawks are concluding a five-game road trip in this one. They stand at 2-3 on the trek. The two wins occurred in Detroit against the struggling Pistons. They lost 123-115 in Milwaukee and followed with an ugly 139-109 road loss to the Raptors on Monday in a clash that had the Hawks labeled as narrow two-point dogs. Atlanta has covered just twice all season.
Trae Young has been productive in every game with the exception of Monday’s blemish. The 24-year-old point guard has eclipsed 30 points in three out of his last four games and features an average of 29 PPG and 9.7 APG. Dejounte Murray has looked good with his new team. The 26-year-old shooting guard arrived from the Spurs and has been stellar from three-point range where he is shooting 40%. Murray is now logging 20 PPG and 6.1 RPG. De’Andre Hunter has shot 40% from the field in his last two games. The 24-year-old is thir d in team scoring with 14 PPG. John Collins has four double-doubles on the season and is posting 13.7 PPG and 9.9 RPG.

The Hawks were 2-0 to begin the season and have gone 2-3 since. They are having trouble in the rebounding department but are generating points with the exception of Monday’s defeat. Atlanta is scoring an average of 115 points on the season, landing them 13th overall. They are conceding an average of 116.9 points, positioning them 22nd in the NBA.
