The South Carolina Gamecocks (5-3) square off against a fellow SEC opponent when they visit the Vanderbilt Commodores (3-5) on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Vanderbilt Stadium.
In their most recent game, the Gamecocks lost 23-10 to the Missouri Tigers. The Commodores are coming off of a loss to the Missouri Tigers by the score of 17-14. Spencer Rattler threw for 171 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception on 20-of-30 passing (66.7%) for the Gamecocks in that matchup against the Tigers. Austin Stogner led the receiving charge against the Tigers, catching four passes for 63 yards. Michael Wright’s performance for the Dores against the Tigers included 9-of-15 passing for 127 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. Re’Mahn Davis carried the ball 15 times for 28 yards (1.9 yards per attempt). In the passing game, he added two catches for seven yards. Gamarion Carter caught one pass on three targets for 80 yards (80.0 yards per reception), and scored one touchdown.
The Gamecocks are touchdown favorites against the Commodores. The total is 49 points.
