The Iowa State Cyclones (3-5) take on a fellow Big 12 foe when they host the West Virginia Mountaineers (3-5) on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Jack Trice Stadium.
In their most recent outing, the Cyclones lost 27-13 to the Oklahoma Sooners. Their last time out, the Mountaineers were defeated by the TCU Horned Frogs 41-31. In that matchup with the Sooners, Hunter Dekkers had 308 yards on 37-of-57 passing (64.9%) for the Clones, with one touchdown and three interceptions. He also carried the ball four times for 31 yards. Cartevious Norton rushed for 27 yards on 11 carries (2.5 yards per carry), adding three receptions for eight yards. Dimitri Stanley had six receptions for 90 yards (15.0 per catch) against the Sooners. JT Daniels’ showing for the Mountaineers against the Horned Frogs included 23-of-39 passing for 275 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. In that matchup, CJ Donaldson had a 19-carry, 104-yard game (5.5 yards per attempt) with two touchdowns. He also added one reception for zero yards . Sam James caught six passes for 95 yards (15.8 yards per catch).
The Cyclones are touchdown favorites in their matchup against the Mountaineers. The total is set at 51 points.
