NBA Player Prop Bets & Picks: Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam Among Top Plays (October 31)

Week two of the NBA is in the books, and the weekend featured many notable performances. Pacers rookie guard Bennedict Mathurin continued to make his early case for Rookie of the Year with a 32-point outing against the Nets on Saturday. He is averaging 21 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game with shooting splits of 45/43/88 this season. Mathurin will get another crack at the Nets as Brooklyn hosts the Pacers once again on Monday night.

Donovan Mitchell did his best to make the Knicks regret not trading for him during the offseason as he finished with 38 points and 12 assists last night. Mitchell has scored 30 or more points in five of his first six games as a Cavalier. The league’s leader scorer is Luka Doncic at 36.7 points per game. He has scored 30 or more in every game this season, including 31 against the Thunder on Saturday and 44 against the Magic last night.

Doncic began the season as the betting favorite to win the MVP at +500 on FanDuel. His odds have fallen to +350, however he now has the second-shortest odds behind Giannis Antetokounmpo at +320. However, we will begin Monday’s slate with another MVP candidate who might come as a surprise to some.
