New Orleans Pelicans vs. Los Angeles Clippers Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 10-30-2022

The LA Clippers hope to snap their three game losing streak Sunday when they host the New Orleans Pelicans. The Clippers are 2-3 this season while the Pelicans are 3-2. New Orleans took four out of five games from the Clippers last season, covering in all four of their wins. Can the Clippers snap their losing skid?

He may not be out as much as Kawhi Leonard yet, but Zion Williamson is in the Leonard mold as a guy who is just always out, it seems. He just gets injured all the time, but when he is in there — what a joy it is to watch the man play basketball. So what is his status for Sunday — once again, Williamson is questionable. Herb Jones is also questionable and Brandon Ingram is out until early November with a concussion. As for Williamson, he has played in 3 of the Pelicans 5 games this year. He has missed the last two games, a win over Dallas and a loss to Phoenix.

In the 124-111 loss at Phoenix on Friday, the Pelicans were without Ingram, Williamson and Williamson and it showed. Jonas Valanciunas picked up some of the slack with 25 points and 10 rebounds while Naji Marshall played well in a spot start with 21 points. CJ McCollum added 17 point and 9 assists while Jose Alvarado added 14 points. The Pelicans are now 3-2 on the season. They sit in third place in the Southwest division, one game behind Memphis.
