The Baltimore Orioles and Texas Rangers face off on Tuesday in an MLB showdown at Globe Life Field. On Monday it was the Orioles that were able to secure the 7-2 victory.
The Orioles sit with a 52-51 record overall and now the goal is to stay above the .500 mark for the rest of the season. On Monday the Orioles scored four runs in the first two innings, and then the pitching did the rest. The Orioles strength has been the pitching and they are giving up only 4.21 runs per game which 11th best in baseball. The team did trade Trey Mancini on Monday to the Houston Astros.
On the other side of this matchup is the Texas Rangers who have a 46-56 record overall and they have lost two of their last three games. Over the last two losses, the Rangers pitching has given up 16 runs total. The pitching for the Rangers has been an issue all season giving up 4.47 runs per game.
