The Tampa Bay Lightning and Anaheim Ducks face off on Wednesday in an NHL showdown at the Honda Center. When these two teams faced off in April it was the Lightning that secured the 4-3 victory over the Ducks.

The offense scored five goals against the New York Islanders, and that was enough to win by two goals. Brandon Hagel, Nick Paul, and Brayden Point all finished with one goal and one assist. The Lightning are averaging 3.0 goals per game, while their defense is giving up 3.17 goals per game. The offense is only 21st in the league, and they need more games like they had in the last game against the Islanders.
On the other side of this matchup is the Ducks who sit with a 1-4-1 record overall but they are coming off a loss in the last game. The defense gave up five goals to the Detroit Red Wings, and that led to the defeat. Trevor Zegras scored the only goal for the Ducks. Anaheim is averaging 2.33 goals per game while their defense is giving up 4.5 goals per game. The offense and defense are both ranked 30th in the league. Troy Torry has scored three goals and added four assists this season.
