New Mexico State has covered the spread in three consecutive games and beat Hawaii and New Mexico outright in that span after starting the year 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS. Meanwhile, UMass' only outright win this season came against FCS Stony Brook and the Minutemen have been outscored by an average of 26.2 points per game, the worst mark of all 131 FBS programs. Don't get me wrong: both of these teams are very bad, but anytime I can get this line against a joke of a program like UMass, I'm going to take advantage. NM State put up 45 points against Hawaii a few weeks ago, so they should be able to move the ball against another terrible defense here. Give me the Aggies to win and cover.
