The Colorado Avalanche will continue a road trip Tuesday night as they visit New York City to take on the New York Rangers. Colorado comes into Tuesday 3-2-1 on the young season following a two goal win over Vegas on Saturday. Alexander Georgiev dominated in the net allowing only one goal on 35 shots after playing the full game.

Offensively Colorado has been dominant this season averaging 3.67 goals per game on 29.3 shots as a team. Valeri Nichushkin leads the team with 11 points to go along with a team high six goals on 21 shots. Nathan MacKinnon is the top setup man for Colorado with six assists.

The New York Rangers continue a homestand Tuesday night struggling as of late after losing three of the last four games played including two in a row following a four goal blowout loss to Columbus. Jaroslav Halak struggled immensely in the net for New York posting a .762 save percentage after allowing five goals on only 21 shots in 60 minutes of game time.
