Texas at Oklahoma State – 10/22/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

Texas will travel to Stillwater and take on Oklahoma State from Boone Pickens Stadium this Saturday on ABC. Texas leads the all-time series 26-10 after winning in Austin last season, but Oklahoma State has won two of the last three matchups.

Texas is 5-2 after defeating Iowa State in Week 7. The Longhorns found themselves in a bit of trouble versus the Cyclones, but a late touchdown catch from Xavier Worthy would give them the victory. Texas is scoring 36.7 points per game, while passing for 253.6 yards per game (92nd), and rushing for 179.9 yards per game (76th). The Longhorn defense allows 18.2 points per game.

Quinn Ewers’ return has brought legitimacy back to the Texas football program. The freshman quarterback returned versus Oklahoma and tossed four touchdowns en route to Texas’ biggest Red River Rivalry win ever. Ewers threw for three more touchdowns in the win over Iowa State last week, and he looks ready for this test in Stillwater Saturday. Hudson Card admirably kept the Horns afloat during his absence, nearly leading UT to arguably their biggest win of all-time over Alabama.
