The Georgia State Panthers will go back on the road this week to Boone, NC for a conference matchup against the Appalachian State Mountaineers. Georgia State comes into this game with only two wins through six games played but are riding a two game win streak following eight point win over Georgia Southern. Offensively Georgia State dominated Georgia Southern totaling 521 yards with 335 coming on the ground to score 41 points in the win.
Quarterback Darren Grainger drove the Georgia State offense completing 16 of 25 passes for 186 yards and two scores and ran the ball 12 times for 70 yards as well. Jamyest Williams led the way on the ground for Georgia State with 129 yards and one score of 16 carries and Tucker Gregg added 111 yards and two scores on 22 carries as well.
