New Orleans Saints at Arizona Cardinals – 10/20/22 NFL Picks and Prediction

The New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals face off on Thursday in a Week 7 NFL showdown at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

The Cardinals have been one of the most disappointing teams in all of the NFL and this is basically a must-win for them. In the last game against the Seattle Seahawks, the Cardinals only scored nine points, and that led to the nine-point loss. Kyler Murray completed 22 of his 37 passes for 222 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed 10 times for 100 yards. Marquise Brown suffered a foot fracture and will be out for a while. The Cardinals did make a trade for Robby Anderson who should make an immediate impact. Deandre Hopkins is also back from suspension. The Cardinals are averaging 19 points per game which is 22nd in the league.

On the other side of this matchup is the Saints who sit with a 2-4 record overall and they are coming off a loss against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Saints scored 26 points against the Bengals, but they were outscored 9-3 in the 4th quarter and that led to the four-point defeat. Alvin Kamara did have a big game finishing with 99 yards rushing and 25 yards receiving. Quarterback Jameis Winston is still dealing with an injury and it’s unclear if he’s going to be able to go in this game. Andy Dalton is also dealing with a back injury and it’s unclear if he can play in this game. Michael Thomas is dealing with a toe injury also and he is doubtful. The Saints are averaging 23.5 points per game and they need the offense to get going in this game.
