The Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat collide at the FTX Arena on Wednesday night.
The Chicago Bulls will be eager to make a deep run in this upcoming season after putting the league on notice following four straight losing seasons. DeMar DeRozan led the team with averages of 27.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game, Zach LaVine averaged 24.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, Nikola Vucevic averaged 17.6 points and 11.0 rebounds per game while Lonzo Ball averaged 13.0 points and 5.1 assists in the 35 games he played. As a team, the Bulls scored 111.6 points per game while shooting 48.0 percent from the field and 36.9 percent from the 3-point line.
Meanwhile, the Miami Heat will be aiming to go one step further this season after missing out on a Conference Finals berth against the Celtics. Jimmy Butler led the team with averages of 21.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.6 steals per game, Tyler Herro averaged 20.7 points and 4.0 assists per game, Bam Adebayo averaged 19.1 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game while Kyle Lowry averaged 13.4 points and 7.5 assists per game. As a team, the Heat scored 110.0 points per game while shooting 46.7 percent from the field and 37.9 percent from the 3-point line.
