The team was in a 3-way tie for the second best record in the Eastern Conference but due to a series of tiebreakers, they ended up with the 4th seed in the playoffs. Joel Embiid was in contention to win the MVP award all season but ultimately finished 2nd to fellow center Nikola Jokic. Embiid and Harden will lead the 76ers into the 2022-23 season with NBA Championship aspirations on their mind.
