MWC opponents match up when the Wyoming Cowboys (4-3) and the Utah State Aggies (3-4) square off on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium.
The Cowboys beat the New Mexico Lobos 27-14 in their last game. The Aggies’ last game was a 17-13 win over the Colorado State Rams. Against the Lobos, Andrew Peasley led the Cowboys with 174 yards on 10-of-21 passing (47.6%) for two touchdowns and no interceptions. Dawaiian McNeely took 12 carries for 62 yards (5.2 yards per carry). Treyton Welch had 87 yards on four catches (21.8 per reception) with two touchdowns in that game. Cooper Legas’ performance for the Aggies against the Rams included 9-of-12 passing for 85 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He rushed four times for 27 yards. Calvin Tyler Jr. carried the ball 24 times for 129 yards. Justin McGriff recorded four catches for 63 yards (on 12 targets), with one touchdown.
The Aggies are 4.5-point underdogs in their matchup with the Cowboys (the game has a total of 42.5 points).
