After a bye week and firing their coach, Colorado went into Berkley and beat the Cal Bears 20-13 in overtime for their 1st victory of the season. Along with Michigan State gaining their own overtime victory over Wisconsin, the Spartans and Buffalo were the final 2 Power 5 teams to gain a victory over FBS schools this season.
Oregon State, after losing 2 conference games against USC and Utah, came back last week with a victory over Washington State 24-10. While this may not seem like much, it puts the Beavers only 1 win away from bowl eligibility with 5 games to play. This is a large step forward for a team that has regularly been near the bottom of the Pac-12.
