Game 3 was a microcosm of how these two teams have played all season. The Yankees were held to just five hits while scoring all of their runs through long balls. Meanwhile, Cleveland's five hits in the nin th inning were all singles. But the Guardians improved their record to 13-20 when trailing entering the eighth inning, the second-best mark in the majors.
