Alabama at Tennessee odds, picks and predictions

The Alabama Crimson Tide (6-0, 3-0 SEC) and Tennessee Volunteers (5-0, 2-0) tangle in a highly anticipated top-10 battle on Saturday. Kickoff at Neyland Stadium will be at 3:30 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Alabama vs. Tennessee odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

Alabama has survived a couple of scares over its first half-dozen games. The most recent of those close calls was last Saturday when the Crimson Tide got by Texas A&M 24-20 without 2021 Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young, who did not play in that game and is questionable for this game (shoulder).

The Volunteers have also had a couple of close calls this season, but they breezed by LSU 40-13 last week. Tennessee piled up 502 total yards in that game, and it was the team’s lowest output since Sept. 10. The Vols rank 1st in FBS in total offense (547.8 yards per game) and 2nd in scoring offense (46.8 points per game).

Alabama is No. 1 and Tennessee is No. 8 in the AFCA Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.
