The USC Trojans and Utah Utes face off on Saturday in a Pac-12 college football showdown at Rice-Eccles Stadium. When these two teams faced off in 2021 it was Utah that secured a 42-26 victory.

Utah scored 32 points, but the defense gave up 42 points, and that led to the 10-point defeat. Utah on the season is averaging 40.3 points while their defense is giving up 19 points per game. Utah’s offense is ranked 14th in the league. 

On the other side of this matchup is the USC Trojans who sit with a 6-0 record and with a win here, they are in great shape for the college football playoff. In the last game against Washington State they gave up 14 points in the second quarter, but that was the only points they gave up and they ended up with a 30-14 victory. Caleb Williams completed 15 of his 29 passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns. USC is averaging 40.2 points while their defense is giving up 18.7 points per game.
