The Kansas Jayhawks and Oklahoma Sooners face off on Saturday in a Big 12 college football showdown at OU Memorial Stadium. In 2021 it was Oklahoma that secured the 35-23 victory.

Kansas scored 31 points but it wasn’t enough as the defense gave up 38 points and that led to the defeat. Jalon Daniels was hurt in the last game and he is expected to miss this game. Jason Bean came in and completed 16 of his 24 passes for 262 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed seven times for 34 yards. Kansas is averaging 39.8 points while their defense is giving up 26.3 points per game. 

On the other side of this matchup is Oklahoma who sits with a 3-3 record overall and they are coming off a blowout loss in their last game. The offense couldn’t get on the board while the defense gave up 49 points to the Texas Longhorns. Davis Beville started in the last game and he completed 6 of his 12 passes for 38 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. Dillon Gabriel is dealing with a head injury, and it’s unclear if he’s going to be able to go in this game. Oklahoma is averaging 30.8 points while their defense is giving up 29.2 points per game.
