The Seattle Kraken will be on the road Thursday night as they travel to Los Angeles, CA for the first game of their regular season. Seattle played pretty well through the preseason but finished on a 2 game losing streak after a 5-3 loss to Edmonton. Goalie Philipp Grubauer struggled in the net for Seattle posting a .897 save percentage after allowing four goals on 39 shots in just over 59.5 minutes on the ice.

Offensively Seattle played well compiling 33 shots and 27 faceoff wins to pump in one goal in each period. Matty Beniers, Jared McCann, and Daniel Sprong led the way for the Seattle offense pumping in one goal each.

The Los Angeles Kings will continue a home stand to open the regular season coming into Thursday 0-1 overall following a 4-3 Los to Vegas in game one of the year.
