Montreal finished last season with a record of 22-49-11 and had 55 points, which was last in the Atlantic Division and last in the entire NHL. Montreal tried to shake up their roster in the offseason, but it is going to take a lot more to get this team to be competitive on a nightly basis. The projected starting goalie for Montreal is Jake Allen, who was 9-20-4 with a 3.30 goals against average and a .905 save percentage for the Canadiens last season.
