The No. 4 Clemson Tigers (5-0) hit the road for an ACC showdown against the Florida State Seminoles (4-1) on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium.
In their most recent outing, the Tigers won 31-3 over the Boston College Eagles. Last time out, the Seminoles were defeated by the NC State Wolf Pack 19-17. Against the Eagles, D.J. Uiagalelei led the Tigers with 220 yards on 18-of-31 passing (58.1%) for three touchdowns and one interception. He also carried the ball 12 times for 69 yards. Phil Mafah totaled 36 rushing yards on seven carries (5.1 yards per carry). Beaux Collins had 58 yards on four catches (14.5 per reception) with one touchdown in that game. Jordan Travis threw for 181 yards for the Noles against the Wolf Pack, going 15-for-30 (50.0%) with one touchdown and two interceptions. He added seven carries for 108 yards. Treshaun Ward carried the ball five times for 51 yards. Johnny Wilson picked up 60 yards through the air after two catches (on eight targets).
The Tigers are the favorite (-3.5) over the Seminoles. The total is set at 51 points.
