The North Carolina Tar Heels (5-1) face a fellow ACC foe when they visit the Duke Blue Devils (4-2) on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.
The Tar Heels took down the Miami Hurricanes 27-24 in their most recent game. The Blue Devils are coming off of a 23-20 loss to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Against the Hurricanes, Drake Maye led the Heels with 309 yards on 19-of-28 passing (67.9%) for two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also carried the ball 14 times for 53 yards. Caleb Hood totaled 74 rushing yards on 13 carries (5.7 yards per carry). He added five catches for 50 yards. J.J. Jones had two receptions for 80 yards (40.0 per catch) and one touchdown against the Hurricanes. Riley Leonard went 20-for-41 with 136 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the Devils against the Yellow Jackets. He also rushed nine times for 29 yards. Jaquez Moore carried the ball 12 times for 59 yards. He caught one pass for seven yards. Jontavis Robertson caught three passes for 41 yards (13.7 yards per catch).
The Tar Heels are touchdown favorites against the Blue Devils. The over/under is 67 points.
