The BYU Cougars (4-1) host the Arkansas Razorbacks (3-3) at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
The Razorbacks took on the Mississippi State Bulldogs in their most recent game, falling 40-17. The Cougars’ most recent outing ended in a 28-20 loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Against the Bulldogs, Malik Hornsby led the Hogs with 234 yards on 8-of-17 passing (47.1%) for one touchdown and two interceptions. He also carried the ball eight times for 114 yards. Raheim Sanders took 20 carries for 86 yards (4.3 yards per carry) and one touchdown, while adding four receptions for 49 yards in the passing game. Jadon Haselwood recorded three receptions for 113 yards (averaging 37.7 per catch) against the Bulldogs. Jaren Hall put up 120 passing yards while going 9-for-17 with two touchdowns and one interception for the Cougs against the Fighting Irish. Christopher Brown Jr. carried the ball 14 times for 86 yards (6.1 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. Kody Epps collected four catches for 100 yards (on six targets), with two touchdowns.
The Cougars should compete as underdogs (+1.5) in their matchup with the Razorbacks (the game has an over/under of 63 points).
