The Washington State Cougars will visit Corvallis, OR this week right PAC 12 matchup with the Oregon State Beavers. Washington State comes into this week 4-2 on the year following a 16 point loss to the number 6 ranked USC Trojans. Defensively Washington State struggled as USC scored 30 points on 369 total yards of offense including 188 through the air.
Offensively Washington State moved the ball well totaling 316 yards but scored only 14 points after converting only four third downs in the game. Quarterback Cameron Ward completed 19 of 32 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns. Jaylen Jenkins led all ballcarriers in the game for Washington State with 130 yards on 13 carries and lead the way with 54 yards on two catches as well.
The Oregon State Beavers return home this week with four wins through their first six games played following a one point victory on the road against Stanford. Offensively Oregon State controlled the game compiling 442 total yards to score 28 points including 18 in the third quarter to complete the comeback victory.
