Raiders vs. Chiefs Monday NFL injury report, odds, trends: Bettors big on Kansas City, Travis Kelce to score touchdown

Week 5 of the NFL season closes with an'AFC West matchup tonight as the Kansas City Chiefs look to continue their recent dominance of the Las Vegas Raiders. Bettors at BetMGM seem to think that will happen as 86% of the tickets and 85% percent of the money is on Kansas City -7. The teams usually play high-scoring affairs, and 67% of the tickets and 68% of the money are on the Over 52 points.

It appears that both teams are in pretty good shape injury-wise. The Chiefs haven't had Pro Bowl kicker Harrison Butker since a Week 1 injury and still won't, but the only other notable injury is wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster being listed as questionable with a quad issue. He's expected to play. The former Steeler has 19 catches for 224 yards. Matthew Wright made his kicking debut last week for Kansas City at Tampa Bay and will serve in that role again. He was 2-for-2 on field goals and 5-for-5 on extra points.

For the Raiders, linebacker Jayon Brown (16 tackles) will sit but fellow linebacker Denzel Perryman is out of the concussion protocol and will play. Ditto receiver Hunter Renfrow. He has been out since Week 2 but has 10 catches for 80 yards.

As of now, the two most-wagered props at BetMGM tonight are on Chiefs Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce, who has 26 catches for 322 yards and three scores on the year. Those props are on Kelce to be the game's first TD scorer at +500 and for an anytime touchdown at -175. The third most-popular p rop is Patrick Mahomes Over 2.5 passing touchdowns at +140. The Chiefs blew out the Raiders twice last year. Mahomes had five TD passes in one and two in the other.
