The Yankees are getting ready to go up against the Cleveland Guardians in the AL Division Series of the MLB playoffs and Nick Kostos discussed whether or not the Yankees are a good team with Cody Decker on You Better You Bet. Kostos thinks the Yankees just “suck” and doesn 7;t believe they will make it to the World Series; Decker sees more of a chance for them, but agrees with Kostos to an extent.
“I think they're the third-best team in the American League, that's what I really think,” Decker said. “Can they get hot? Yes, they can get hot. … But you watched that second half along with the rest of us. … If they don't hit, they're screwed. … We'll see, but their bullpen sucks, their closers suck and if they don't have a hell of a lead going into the ninth, I don't trust the Yankees at at all. Especially against a team like the the Houston Astros, who, I don't know why they won't die but they won't.”
