The Marshall Thundering Herd (3-2) host a Sun Belt battle against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns (2-3) on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.

The Thundering Herd played the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs in their most recent game, winning 28-7. The Ragin’ Cajuns are coming off of a 20-17 loss to the South Alabama Jaguars. In that matchup with the Runnin’ Bulldogs, Henry Colombi had 138 yards on 13-of-20 passing (65.0%) for the Herd, with two touchdowns and one interception. Khalan Laborn totaled 191 rushing yards on 35 carries (5.5 yards per carry), scoring two touchdowns on the ground. He added two catches for two yards. Charles Montgomery recorded five receptions for 72 yards (averaging 14.4 per catch) against the Runnin’ Bulldogs. Ben Wooldridge went 18-for-29 with 90 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the Ragin’ Cajuns against the Jaguars. He rushed nine times for 36 yards. Chris Smith put together a 12-carry, 107-yard game (8.9 yards per attempt), while also adding five receptions for 16 yards . Peter LeBlanc caught three passes for 23 yards (7.7 yards per catch).

The Thundering Herd are favorites by 7.5 points over the Ragin’ Cajuns. The total is set at 47.5 points.
