Texas A&M at Alabama – 10/8/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Texas A&M Aggies and Alabama Crimson Tide face off on Saturday in a Week 6 college football showdown at Bryant-Denny Stadium. When these two teams faced off last season it was Texas A&M that secured the 41-38 victory.

Alabama comes into this game with a 5-0 record overall and they are coming off another big win over the Arkansas Razorbacks. Alabama scored 49 points, and that was enough to pull away in the 4th quarter to secure the victory. Bryce Young only threw 13 passes and finished with 173 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Young is dealing with an ankle injury and it’s unclear if he’s going to be able to go in this game. Alabama is averaging 48.4 points while their defense is giving up 11 points per game. The offense is ranked 4th in college football while the defense is ranked 5th.

On the other side of this matchup is Texas A&M who sit with a 3-2 record overall but they are coming off a disappointing loss in the last game. In the last game, Texas A&M’s defense gave up 42 points and which led to the defeat. The offense did score 24 points in the game, and Max Johnson had a decent game. Johnson completed 19 of his 26 passes for 203 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. Texas A&M is averaging 21.8 points while their defense is giving up 17.8 points per game. The defense is going to need to step up, but the offense also needs to have its best game of the season.
