The MLB regular season wrapped up on Wednesday and finalized its'official 2022 postseason bracket. There are 12 teams, six from each league, fighting for an opportunity to take home the World Series title.

One of the series many baseball fans have circled is a matchup between the 4-seed Toronto Blue Jays and 5-seed Seattle Mariners. The Blue Jays only got better as the season progressed, finishing with the fourth-best winning percentage (.667) since the start of September. The Mariners will provide a stiff test, though, after averaging the ninth-most home runs per game (1.22) this campaign.

Mariners vs Blue Jays Prediction & Pick

This series should be an exciting battle between two clubs with a lot of young talent. While the Mariners have beaten the Blue Jays in five straight games, those victories came during the first half of the season. Toronto is on another level as its offense and pitching are clicking at the right time. I do expect a back-and-forth affair between a pair of teams that can hit the stitching off a baseball, however, I expect the Blue Jays to prevail thanks to a raucous Canadian crowd.

Final Series Prediction:'Blue Jays win, 2-1
