The Clemson Tigers (5-0, 2-3 ATS, 3-2 O/U) will collide with the Boston College Eagles (2-3, 1-4 ATS, 3-2 O/U) in an ACC showdown on Saturday night. The Tigers remained undefeated after beating NC State in their previous bout. The Eagles were able to earn a narrow home win against Louisville last week, marking their first ACC win. Clemson registered a 19-13 home win against Boston College last season.

The #5 Clemson Tigers' unblemished play continues. They have won all three ACC games including a 41-10 win against Georgia Tech. Clemson is enjoying a 5-0 start however the last two games were close battles. First, they needed OT to beat #21 Wake Forest 51-45 and were labeled 6.5-point favorites in a 30-20 home win against #10 NC State last week. The Tigers have covered in two of their three conference games. 

DJ Uiagalelei didn’t put up big numbers against NC State but was accurate and efficient, going 21 for 30 for 209 yards. The junior QB has definitely improved greatly compared to last season and has accrued 1242 passing yards complemented by an 11:1 TD to INT ratio. Will Shipley continues to shine, surpassing 100 rushing yards in two out of his last three performances. The sophomore RB leads the squad with 413 yards on 6.3 yards per ca rry.

Clemson has three receivers with at least 200 yards including Beaux Collins. The sophomore has logged 232 receiving yards. The Clemson offense is balanced evenly and their 30-point output last week was actually their lowest of the season. 

The Tigers' defense is outstanding but not quite as dominant as some expected. They can be solved in the air and opponents have been attacking them with the air raid. They only conceded 279 total yards last week against NC State, 245 of which were passing yards. The pass defense is 106th while the rush defense is third.

Clemson is posting 41 points, landing them 15th overall. The defense is conceding an average of 21.4 points, good for 43rd in the FBS.
