Oregon Ducks (4-1) vs. Arizona Wildcats (3-2)

Week 6 of the 2022 college football season brings plenty of interesting conference matchups including the Pac-12 showdown from Arizona Stadium in Tucson, so here’s the best Oregon vs. Arizona betting pick for Saturday, October 8.

Oregon aims for its third straight victory over Arizona. Last year, the Ducks beat the Wildcats 41-19 as huge 29.5-point home favorites. Oregon is a 12.5-point road fave this time around, while the totals sit at 69.0 points.

The Oregon Ducks narrowly covered a 17.5-point spread in a 45-27 Week 5 victory to the Stanford Cardinal. It was their fourth straight-up win in a row, as the Ducks improved to 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS on the season (2-0 conference play). Oregon stormed the front, building up a 28-point lead by halftime, so the Ducks took their foot off the gas and yielded 24 points in the second half.

“A lot of positives we can take from this game, but also a lot of moments for growth,” Oregon head coach Dan Lanning said. “We're trying to be the best version of us, and we're not quite there yet.”

Senior quarterback Bo Nix, a transfer from Auburn, led the charge for Oregon in Week 5. He tossed for 161 yards and two to uchdowns while carrying the pigskin six times for 141 yards and a couple of scores including an 80-yard rushing TD in the third quarter. Running backs Bucky Irving and Noah Whittington combined for 163 yards on 21 totes, and the Ducks outgained the Cardinal 515-332 in total yards.

Since a heavy 49-3 loss to Georgia in their season opener, the Ducks have scored a thumping 200 points across four games. Now, their offense ranks 10th in the nation in rushing yards (228.8) and 42nd in passing yards per game (270.2). The Ducks surrender 30.2 points per contest (tied-97th) on 282.2 passing yards (119th) and 94.6 rushing yards (16th).

Oregon enters Week 6 as the No. 12 in the AP Top 25 Poll. The Ducks are without DL Popo Aumavae and OL Steven Jones due to foot injuries, while RB B yron Cardwell has missed the last three games with an undisclosed injury and is questionable to play in Week 6.
