Kansas City Royals vs. Cleveland Guardians Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 10-4-2022

The Cleveland Guardians (90-70) will host the Kansas City Royals (65-95) with two games remaining in the regular season. Cleveland has won 10 of the first 17 head-to-head game this season, but Kanas City got the 5-2 victory on Monday night.

 

The Royals have taken two of the first four games of this six game series against Cleveland after winning in extra innings on Monday. Zack Greinke gave the Royals are solid outing allowing just two runs on seven hits through six innings. In the 10th-inning, the Royals broke open the 2-2 tie, on a three run homer by rookie outfielder Drew Waters. Waters was 2 for 4 with four RBI for the game, and in 30 games this season has five home runs and 18 RBI.

 

Starting on Tuesday will be southpaw Daniel Lynch (4-12, 4.96 ERA) . On the road, Lynch is 3-7 with a 4.24 ERA and he allowed six earned runs in four innings in his only start against Cleveland on May 31.
