The St. Louis Cardinals have a couple more playoff tune up games with the Pittsburgh Pirates this week. They travel to Pittsburgh to play the fifth game of a six game home and home series on Tuesday. The Cards have clinched the NL Central and will have the third seed, and will face the sixth seed, probably the Phillies. Until then, there are two more games in the regular season.
The St. Louis Cardinals have not yet named a starter for Tuesday's game, but it really doesn't matter. The Cardinals have nothing to play for as their playoff seed can't change and they are locked into third, As this is the second to last game of the regular season, look for the Cardinals to give some players some rest tp get ready for the playoffs.

The Cardinals are very healthy coming into this series with only a few players banged up, and two of those who are out, reliever Jordan Hicks and right field Tyler O'Neill, could be back in mid-October. That said, don't expect them to play all of their stars as some may want to take it easy for a few days before jumping into the do or die playoffs.
