The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will visit Malone stadium in Monroe, LA this week for a game against the UL Monroe Warhawks. Coastal Carolina comes into their sixth game of the year undefeated following a four point win against Georgia Southern in their last game. Offensively Coastal Carolina controlled the game compiling 485 total yards of offense to score 34 points in the game including twenty in the fourth quarter to get the win.
Grayson McCall proved to be the best player on the field for Coastal Carolina completing 23 of 34 passes for 335 yards and three scores and ran the ball 10 times for 35 yards and one touchdown as well. CJ Beasley led all ball carriers for Coastal Carolina with 64 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries and Jared Brown chipped in 139 yards and one touchdown on five receptions.
The UL Monroe Warhawks go back home this week one game under .500 following 17 point loss to Arkansas State. Defensively the Warhawks were obliterated as Arkansas State scored 45 points on 355 total yards. The UL Monroe Offense played well with nearly 300 yards of offense but one touchdown and only 28 points led to the loss.
