Free expert college football Week 5 player prop bets: Jacob Cowing strikes

One month into the 2022 college football season, and it’s safe to say that this year has already been a wild ride. There have been' plenty of upsets, thrilling finishes, surprising results galore. What will be in store as we start October? Week 5 features a number of important Power 5 tilts, including Alabama vs Arkansas, Baylor vs Oklahoma State and NC State vs Clemson, to name a few. However, some of my favorite player prop markets of the day come from the Big Ten and PAC-12.

Let's take a look at my favorite player prop plays below, and be sure to check out all of our Week 5 coverage on the college football page.

Jacob Cowing, WR, Arizona anytime touchdown scorer (-115)

One of the most underrated transfers in the college football offseason was Jacob Cowing leaving UTEP and becoming the #1 wide receiver at Arizona. Cowing has already proven to have a strong connection with Jayden de Laura, grabbing 27 receptions and 6 touchdowns in his first four games as a Wildcat. Arizona’s passing attack has been dynamic and much of that can be attributed to Cowing’s brilliance. Don’t expect the Wildcats to take their foot off the gas this week against Colorado, as the Buffaloes have surrendered at least 38 points in each game this season. Assuming Arizona puts up at least 4 touchdowns, I’d expect Cowing to be on the receiving end of at least one of them.
