The Milwaukee Brewers (83-73) will host the Miami Marlins (65-91) on Friday in the second game of a four-game series. The Marlins came away with the upset on Thursday winning 4-2.
It hasn't been a good season for the Marlins, but that doesn't mean they can't spoil someone else's fun. The Marlins have won four of their last six, including splitting a two-game series with the Mets and Thursday's win over the Brewers. Trailing 2-0 in the season opener, the Marlins loaded the bases in the eighth inning and sunk Milwaukee on a grand slam by Avisal Garcia, who played for the Brewers in 2020 and 2021.

It won't be easy for the Brewers on Friday either as Miami sends Cy Young candidate Sandy Alcantara (14-8, 2.32 ERA) to the mound. Alcantara is 5-4 with a 3.16 ERA in 15 road starts. In September Alcantara is 2-2 with a 3.34 ERA in five starts.
