The Oregon State Beavers and Utah Utes face off on Saturday in a Week 5 college football showdown at Rice-Eccles Stadium. In 2021 it was Oregon State that secured the 42-34 victory over Utah.

Oregon State on the season is averaging 37.8 points while their defense is giving up 23.5 points per game. In this game on offense, Oregon State is going to need to limit the turnovers.

On the other side of this matchup is the Utah Utes who sit with a 3-1 record overall and the defeat came against Florida. In the last game against Arizona State, the defense was elite giving up only 13 points and that led to the 21-point victory. Under center for Utah is Cameron Rising and in the last game, he completed 19 of his 29 passes for 260 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Utah on the season is averaging 42 points while their defense is giving up 14 points per game. Last season when they faced Oregon State the defense wasn’t good enough, and they will need to be better here on that side of the ball.
