The Yankees offense overall is averaging 5.05 runs per game which is second in the league. The pitching isn’t talked about as much but they are ranked 3rd in the league.
On the other side of this matchup is the Blue Jays who sit with an 87-68 record overall and they made some dumb mistakes on the bases that cost them on Tuesday. The Blue Jays offense has been good, but the pitching hasn’t been good enough overall this season. The pitching is giving up 4.27 runs per game which is 16th in the league. Bo Bichette is having a big season hitting 24 home runs and driving in 91 RBis.
