The No. 6 USC Trojans (3-0) square off against a familiar opponent when they host the Arizona State Sun Devils (1-2) on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in a Pac-12 showdown.

The Trojans squared off against the Oregon State Beavers in their last game, winning 17-14. Their last time out, the Sun Devils lost 34-13 to the Utah Utes. In that matchup with the Beavers, Caleb Williams had 180 yards on 16-of-36 passing (44.4%) for the Trojans, with one touchdown and no interceptions. He also carried the ball nine times for 27 yards. Travis Dye ran for 133 yards on 19 carries (7.0 yards per carry) and one touchdown, adding one reception for nine yards. Tahj Washington had six receptions for 67 yards (11.2 per catch) against the Beavers. Emory Jones put up 261 passing yards while going 21-for-36 with one touchdown and two interceptions for the Devils against the Utes. Xazavian Valladay carried the ball eight times for 30 yards (3.8 yards per attempt). In the passing game, he added four catches for 29 yards. Elijhah Badger registered 76 yards through the air after five catches (on nine targets).

The Sun Devils are big, 26.5-point underdogs in their matchup with the Trojans (the game’s total is 61 points).
