The Houston Astros are rolling as October and the MLB postseason approaches. Houston has already locked up the AL West, but it now has its sights set on the No. 1 overall seed in the American League.

The Astros can clinch the AL's top spot on Tuesday with a little help from the Toronto Blue Jays.

Houston Astros News

Houston will earn the No. 1 seed for the playoffs if it wins against the Arizona Diamondbacks and the New York Yankees lose to the Blue Jays in Toronto on Tuesday. The Astros should be able to take care of the 71-83 Diamondbacks at home in the first game of their series, but the Yankees will be sure to put up a fight after losing in extra innings on Monday.

New York currently checks in with a 94-59 record heading into Tuesday's action. The Astros sit atop the league with a 101-53 mark, which trails only the Los Angeles Dodgers (106-47) for the best in the majors.
