I make my New Mexico State vs. Jacksonville State prediction after the Gamecocks dominated their last two opponents, winning by an average of 38 points per game.
Meanwhile, the Aggies have lost four consecutive games. Three of those losses have been by at least 10 points, and two have been by at least 20. As part of our Week 7 college football predictions, I question if they can figure things out this week before they meet with the Gamecocks.

Last week, the Aggies played the 129th-ranked scoring defense, and they scored 40 points. However, they also allowed 50 points in that game. Even if they score in this game, they won't be able to stop the Gamecocks at all.
The Gamecocks have allowed 37 or more points in three of their five games this season. The good news for them is that the Aggies' offense is more similar to their last two opponents. The Gamecocks have allowed just 31 total points in their last two games.
This spread is going to continue to increase as kickoff approaches. Three of the four major sportsbooks already have it at 20.5. Get in before this moves to 21, but even if you miss that window, you can still feel confident taking the Gamecocks all the way up to 24 points.

Huff has run for at least 77 yards in four of his five games this season. He's topped 100 yards twice. The Aggies are allowing 277.3 rushing yards per game this season. While most of that yardage has been given up to running backs, Huff leads the Gamecocks in rushing this season. He's averaging 7.1 yards per carry on the year, and that average should increase this week.
