The Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) travel to meet the New Orleans Saints (2-0) at Caesars Superdome in Week 3 on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Eagles vs. Saints odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.
The Eagles suffered a terrible collapse Monday night in Week 2, falling 22-21 against the Atlanta Falcons. Philadelphia was driving, looking to salt the game away, up 18-15. QB Jalen Hurts dumped it off on a high-percentage pass in the flat to RB Saquon Barkley on 3rd down, inside 2 minutes to go, but he dropped the pass. Philadelphia had to settle for a FG, when it appeared it had a sure TD.
QB Kirk Cousins drove the length of the field in short order, rallying the team to a win. It’s a chance they never should have had.
The Eagles were at least much better defensively than Week 1 in Brazil, a wild 34-29 win over the Green Bay Packers at Arena Corinthians. And, to be fair, Philadelphia was without WR A.J. Brown (hamstring), and he is likely to miss Week 3, too.
