Former defensive tackle Amobi Okoye was the youngest NFL player drafted at age 19 in 2007 (10 months), before playing for the Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Dallas Cowboys.

Current Bears linebacker Tremaine Edmunds became the second-youngest at 19 years, 11 months when he was drafted to the Buffalo Bills in 2018.

The third-youngest player was halfback Elmer Angsman, who was selected by the Chicago Cardinals at age 20 (one month) in 1946.'
